Gurmukhi to Gurbani

Sanjh Heritage Inc., New York, was founded with a heartfelt purpose: to guide children from Gurmukhi to Gurbani.

Why It Matters

In today’s busy world, learning Gurmukhi helps us stay connected with our roots and opens the way to reading and understanding Gurbani...

Who Can Join

Our online classes welcome children, young people, and adults, including working professionals, interested in learning Gurmukhi...

About Us

Many children today struggle to read Gurmukhi and understand Gurbani. If we do not nurture this connection now, how will they pass this precious heritage on to the next generation?
Guru Sahib teaches us: ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਚਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਸਾਰੇ ॥

Bani is the Guru, and the Guru is Bani; within Bani is the nectar of spiritual wisdom.

If our children cannot read Gurbani or understand its meaning, how will they experience the spiritual joy of this Amrit and draw guidance from its wisdom?

Through Sanjh, we hope to build that foundation—with love, understanding and the guidance of Guru Sahib—so our children can cherish Gurbani, live by its teachings and carry this precious connection forward.

Our Mission

To provide accessible and engaging online education in Gurmukhi, Gurbani, Gurmat, and Gur Itihas for children, young adults, and families. Through meaningful learning, we help students connect with Punjabi language and Sikh heritage, understand Guru Sahib’s teachings, and apply values of compassion, honesty, humility, courage, and seva in everyday life.
