Dr. Ravneet Kaur is an education leader with over 20 years of experience as the Founder Director and Principal of Guru Teg Bahadur International School in Punjab, India. Her work has focused on nurturing academic excellence, strong values, and a meaningful connection with language, culture, and heritage.
Now based in New York, she founded Sanjh Heritage Inc. to help children, young adults, and families connect with the Punjabi language, Sikh heritage, and the teachings of Gurbani.
Through Sanjh Heritage Academy’s online programs, she guides learning in Gurmukhi, Gurbani, Gurmat, and Gur Itihas. Her approach combines structured lessons, sakhis, discussion, and regular practice to make learning engaging, accessible, and meaningful.
Alongside her work in heritage education, Dr. Kaur works with Green Mentors, supporting sustainability education, green school audits, and teacher training.
Her dedication to Sanjh comes from a deeply held belief that future generations need both a connection with their roots and the wisdom to navigate everyday life. She wants learners to draw strength from Guru Sahib’s teachings—to face challenges with courage and patience, treat others with kindness, earn honestly, and live with gratitude and humility.
For her, learning Gurbani is a lifelong source of guidance that can help young people make thoughtful choices, find inner peace, and fulfil their responsibilities with confidence and compassion.
Sanjh’s guiding phrase, "Gurmukhi to Gurbani," reflects her commitment to helping learners read Gurmukhi, understand Gurbani, and carry Guru Sahib’s teachings into their daily lives.
